Recruitments have been DOWN DOWN DOWN this year because of the credit crunch. Coming out of a top uni doesn't even help one to get an internship, leave alone a graduate job. All the places have been filled by rich kids with rich daddies.
Add your comment »Jango, this isnt true, i am not rich and neither is my dad yet I have a job in trading, please keep unfounded opinions to yourself. A grads wage is a drop in the ocean for a bank, hardly a good way to cut costs...
Add your comment »Then perhaps you have got a rich mother and your father is living off her. rich kid
Add your comment »Jango has a point - especially out here in Asia, many of the internship positions are taken up by clients' sons and daughters. Most of these people are capable, but you do see one or two brats that don't really know why they're working where they are...
Still, good for you Ed, although unfortunately people like yourself could be in the minority when it comes to getting internships! Good luck to you anyways!
I got a "rich daddy" and even I couldn't get an internship, that is how bad it is!
Add your comment »Marie, how rich could your daddy be anyway? If he is that rich you would have got a Front Office Internship during your A level.
Add your comment »Her dad musnt be rich enough before she can get a job, basically believe in yourself & make sure u have the mindset of excellence & i bet u there will be a great change in your life.
Always pray & God will help you.
bless u all
Are any companies still hiring for spring internships?
