If my BEng result is not gd, but perform well in my MSc Fina, do I still get gd chance to get into Fina field?

The answer is yes, but your chances are reduced if we are realistic. Masters are additive degrees and getting distinction/high distinction does help, but there is, I would argue, a greater differentiation between students at undergraduate degree courses, largely because the universities and degree classes are universally understood in the UK. Recruiters know a first from Oxbridge is hard to come by for example. You should of course try to do as well as possible in your undergraduate degree and your masters – do well in both and you have your best chance.
