What possibilties come from the Operation, Business and Finance placement opportunity at JPMorgan?

First up, JP Morgan is an excellent name to have on your CV. You are however entering what is not a front office area and you do run the risk of being a support guy and that is, in simple language, a second class citizen role in any investment bank. The business element of the triumvirate you mention is the most interesting as this can open doors. First of all business management is typically front office and has some interesting roles although it still has a little bit of the second class citizen tag. If you can get into controller type roles those can open doors as a number of controllers have moved into trading and onwards and upwards from there and if you are really good you can make it into any role, but it is the exception not the norm..
