What are the differences between sales/trading at a top tier IB and an interdealer brokerage?

Yeah I suspected as much! Any chance someone can elaborate slightly though? I understand the difference in job function- but do both allow the same types of personality to thrive? Is the skillset of being outgoing, having a thick skin etc. equally applicable to both? And any chance someone can give me a spot more detail on the salaries + bonuses- and the job security!
