When do the Investment Banks in the U.S start hiring Interns

IBs complete their permanent hiring first and then the graduate recruitment team focus on intern hiring. So, they hope to have 2009 permanent hiring completed by December 2008/Jan 2009 and the summer internship hiring completed by March 2009. Therefore, I would look at applying in December 2008 as applications usually close in January or February 2009. Your careers centre should also have the exact deadlines for each employer as they are all slightly different.
